I was assured someone would be put on the Saturday when I called as it was an emergency. Was later called to say nobody could come and rescheduled for the Monday between 12 & 3pm. I called to confirm on the Monday and was assured someone would come. On the second call I made to confirm (At 2:50pm!!) I was told that nobody was going to make it.
I was so upset but they offer no sympathy and couldn't even guarantee me that someone would definitely be out the next day.
They were quick to take my payment on Saturday already!! Am just hoping the refund comes through in the next day or so. (Edit: it was refunded 3 working days later which I believe to be standard)
Needless to say I cancelled them and called British Gas who sent someone promptly when they heard that I'd been without hot water and heating for the weekend and had a 1year old at home. They paid an engineer overtime to come out in the evening!
